Guardian Egypt Logo SmallThis week Guardian’s new regional manager, Sophie Ellgaard, arrived in Cairo, Egypt.

Guardian Egypt has, together with Leth Agencies, been setting up a joint company in Egypt. Guardian has served international customers in Egypt for many years and the in the beginning of 2016 newly established company enables Guardian to better serve existing and new customers in Egypt.

Sophie’s main tasks in Cairo will be to strengthen Guardian’s presence locally and potentially in the wider region. Having a regional manager present will improve the coordination between the local Egypt and the Danish offices. Furthermore, Sophie will look to expand Guardian’s network on the ground, in order to enable even better service of Guardian customers. Cairo represents great business opportunities and provides further expansion potential for the company abroad.

Sophie has worked with Guardian as a consultant since 2011, mostly being involved with training and education. She has developed a special focus on the advantages and disadvantages of traveling abroad as a female.

Sophie and local counterparts are already working on courses and training. Right now, preparations for the HEAT course are ongoing and a defensive driving course will soon be available for clients.
