Guardian-srm is happy to present an open Travel Security Awareness Training (TSAT), taking place on 20 February 2019. The TSAT is a one-day course that prepares employees for travel activity in middle- and high-risk countries.
Supplying a solid physical and psychological framework, the course enables the employee to fully concentrate on the assignment while traveling.
The course is led by experienced Guardian instructors and is conducted in two parts. The first part of the course concerns security awareness, including general risk management, travel assessments and procedures for handling critical situations and events.
The second part will focus on remote first aid and the participants will be taught the most crucial tools necessary for handling an emergency medical situation.
The following topics will be covered:
- Preparation prior to travel
- Travel assessments
- General threats in unsafe or challenging environments
- Stress handling
- Critical events (armed robbery, hostage situations and active shooter incidents)
- Remote first aid (M-A-B-C-D-E)
