2017’s Close Protection Officer courses in Lithuania

April 22 - May 7

Close protection officer courseIn an increasingly interconnected and complex world, security is often a major concern of employers. Whether at the domestic workplace or abroad in unfamiliar parts of the world, businesses and organizations need specialists to develop and maintain sound security procedures. With Close Protection Officer (CPO) training from Guardian, you will be in a position to provide such valuable advice and personal protection to your client.

The course covers amongst others:

  • Close protection
  • Travel security
  • First aid
  • Travel and Operational Planning
  • Surveillance Detection
  • IED recognition and search
  • Conflict management
  • Self-defense
  • Third-party protection

We provide a team of certified security specialists with extensive experience within their field. Hands-on practice is a cardinal issue for us, and we endeavor to make the course mostly consist of practical exercises. However, the participant will also be presented with useful theoretical tools. Upon successful completion of the course, the instructor team will issue a certificate containing a full course description. Guardian’s course is endorsed by the British Home Office’s Security Industry Authority (SIA) making it widely recognized all over the world.

Close protection work is complex and the course requires the participant’s full attention. The training is held within 16 consecutive working days based on 15 hours of work per day. An exact schedule containing times and places is forwarded to the participant before the start of the course. The participant is responsible for own transportation to the course location or agreed pickup point, but food and accommodation are included in the price.

Prior knowledge about close protection is not required for participating in the CPO course. The participant is continuously evaluated and will have to pass a test in the final exercise to become certified. In case the participant fails the test, he can be dismissed from the course. The course director will subsequently review the case for re-examination.

There will be CPO courses taking place the following dates:

  • 22nd of April – 7th of May 2017
  • 29th of July – 13th of August 2017

Course price: 25.000 DKK is the fee for the entire course. An additional fee of 150 DKK is charged per day for accommodation and food/beverage.

Guardian reserves the right to cancel a course if there are too few participants.
